Ever since I was old enough to remember, I've had a passion for creating things. From doll clothes to small accessory cases, I've always been making things since I was little. In my teens, I was bothered by looking too adult, so I researched makeup. My research habit led me to work as a beauty writer (16 years in chemistry). I longed for freedom, so I conquered all of Japan with the Seishun 18 Ticket and walked the Earth with a backpack. My favorite place is Manaus, Brazil. My mood is always NYC.

What I created is a new kind of knitting with a fresh feel, Saki-ami. From my atelier in Shimokitazawa, I've reached over 50,000 girls so far.
