How to make a relaxed, soft, and voluminous chignon
This time, we will show you how to create a relaxed, soft, and voluminous chignon.
Watch the hair arrangement in action!
Step 1

Pull out plenty of wisps from points ①, ②, ③, and ④.

Secure it with a strong hair tie, wrapping it three times at points that pass the chin and ears.

For the third wrap, stop at the point where you pull it out to create a small, firm bun.
Step 2
Apply extra oil, such as camellia oil and shea butter, to the remaining hair strands.

Wrap the well-oiled and bundled hair ends around the bun.

Twirl the end of the hair strand and tuck it into the base hair tie.
If it's difficult, you can use a bobby pin to secure it.
Step 3

Create plenty of volume from the base of the hair tie.
Pull out the hair 5mm to 1cm from the roots.

Pinch the surface with your fingers and pull out 2-3 cm.

An important point for a soft and voluminous chignon: don't forget to pull the hair downwards from behind the ears. This downward flow creates a soft and gentle impression.
Step 4

Pull out parts of the chignon. Pinch the surface of the bun and pull it out randomly.

Similarly, pull out the wrapped hair.
Step 5

Attach a mini barrette right next to the soft, voluminous chignon, and you're done!
Complete!
The relaxed, soft, and voluminous chignon is complete.
The surface looks soft and airy, but the firm base is key to preventing it from falling apart.
