As someone with dry skin, my lips are no exception.
Not just in winter, but all year round, my lips get so dry that I can't go without lip balm.

If left untreated, it can cause peeling, and lipstick application and color payoff become poor. It can also cause vertical lines on the lips.

This is a godsend item that I've been using ever since it launched in 2008.

The packaging has changed again... but I loved this shape so much that I kept repurchasing it on Mercari for a while. I think it's time to steel myself and accept the new version.

It's a lip serum applied with a spatula.
I apply it morning and night after skincare and makeup.
After finishing a bottle of the serum, which took about a year, I thought since summer was approaching, I could go without repurchasing it for a while.

Then, my lips became chapped and rough, and sheer lipsticks wouldn't apply at all. Without hesitation, I rushed to VECUA and bought it again.

Since then, it has become one of my essential items.

If your lips are in particularly bad condition, applying a thick layer and leaving it on with cling film for about 10 minutes should completely restore them.
