【Behind the Scenes】All About the Beauty and Our Commitment

I'm excited to share that the collection I've been diligently preparing since last autumn/winter, in anticipation of spring, is now complete! I wanted to discuss the collection in full, but the dress alone turned out to be quite a long topic, so this time, it's all about the dress.
First, since my style has become quite casual lately, I wanted to create a "guaranteed" dress – one that you can just put on and feel great about! A dress where you don't have to worry about accessories or little details.
About the Fabric
First, we were extremely thorough in selecting the fabric.
Working with Sumiyo, a talented designer who knows everything about fabrics, we ordered countless samples, visited suppliers, and carefully examined and felt each one before making our decision.
It's a long and winding story, so here are the highlights in bullet points!
The fabric characteristics are as follows:

About the Draping
Next, what we were particularly particular about was the draping.
Once we choose beautiful materials, we want to harness that beauty to create a shape that elegantly envelops the wearer!
Adjusting the draping was a real challenge for pattern maker Masami. This design was truly difficult!
① Neckline
A shape that already has style, just by wearing it.
This was the part that took the longest, from mock-ups to samples, to achieve the envisioned drape.
The soft drape that runs diagonally from the shoulder to the neckline draws the eye upward and gently frames the face. In fact, creating this diagonal line involved meticulous adjustments, even re-examining the fabric grain.
When you wear a jacket, just the soft drape peeks out, which is also beautiful.
② Front
The drape falls straight down from the neckline. This emphasizes the vertical line, leading to a flattering, elongating effect.
See? It makes your gaze go up, doesn't it?
③ Sleeves
The cuffs have plenty of fine draping, creating a soft, gathered look. This gives it a slightly classical impression. The sleeves themselves are cut generously, so they naturally create vertical drapes that make your arms look slender.
④ Back
Two vertical drapes from the back seam. This creates a soft, gentle silhouette.
That's why this design flows, no matter how you move or wear it.
It's getting long. I still have a bit more to say.
About the Pearls
The idea started with thinking, "Wouldn't pearl buttons look cute on the neckline's drape?"
As a result, it became a design that eliminates the need for accessories! It removes all concerns about necklace length balance or children pulling on them.
Since we were going through the effort, we chose a pearl color with a beautiful luster that complements the skin tone. They are securely sewn on, so you don't need to adjust them!
There are also two pearls on each cuff, making your movements appear graceful just by wearing them.
About the Shape
I've already talked extensively about the draping, but the shape flows easily and is comfortable to wear. Oh, and it's lined, which prevents sticking during dry seasons!
Mari, our seamstress, truly finished it with great care.
A length that covers the knees. A length that looks good with both heels and flat shoes.
The sleeves have long cuffs, but the slits give them a neat and tidy look.
Designing Everyone's Time
First, on the morning of a ceremony. The children's big day. Mothers are usually bustling with their children's preparations. No matter how much you plan, you often put yourself last on the actual day, so just putting this on and being done with it is the best solution.
You might have small children. You shouldn't have to worry about little things, even if you're holding them or they're pulling on your clothes.
You might sit for a long time. You shouldn't have to look at photos later and think, "Oh, I was so wrinkled."
It might be your own special occasion or a day out for a nice meal. You might eat a lot of delicious food. You want a design where the silhouette doesn't change even after you've eaten your fill. You want a design where you don't have to worry about your silhouette.
You want to look cute and beautiful. But with work, kids, and sudden illnesses, your mind is overwhelmed! So, without thinking about anything, this one dress gives you absolute confidence! It's our "guaranteed" dress!
This dress is packed with careful details. We focused not only on the design but also on the time you spend wearing it, making it a "guaranteed dress" that gives you confidence just by putting it on.
