Material Obsession
The soft, blooming knit (saki-ami) is born from organza. Organza is a thin, light, crisp, and stiff plain weave fabric. Because it allows light to pass through, it has a unique soft atmosphere while its elegant sheerness creates a transparent feel, characterized by its distinctive luster and elasticity. After tearing various fabrics, chiko uses polyester organza, which has strong durability and stable quality.
Features of Saki-ami products
◎ "Just right" wherever you put it, on your chest or as a headpiece.
The light-permeable organza blends seamlessly with wherever you attach it.
Furthermore, it's not just visually light, but physically very light too.
It won't sag even if you attach it to a spring jacket or dress.
You can also enjoy it as a headpiece.
It changes its expression depending on the scene, so it will blend in well with a dress you wear to a special occasion,
or a suit you wear to your youngest child's entrance ceremony.
◎ Looks delicate but is very durable.
Organza can be used without discoloration forever. Because it's tightly woven, it won't get squashed or unravel even if it's jostled on a train or kept in a pouch! Even if it gets wet in unfortunate weather, the fluffiness remains. Please feel free to go out with peace of mind!
Precautions for handling Saki-ami products
Since the product is made by tearing fabric, there may be some fuzziness. While some fluff may fall off initially, the fibers will settle and be less prone to falling off with use, so please enjoy its texture as you get accustomed to it. If it gets dirty, hand wash it gently. If you air dry it, the volume will return to its original state!
