The Tokimeki basket, a collaboration with Hibiya Kadan, perfectly reproduces the natural image of mimosa.
It's not too big, not too small, not too flashy, not too simple - it's perfectly medium in every way. Enjoy it as a hand-held basket, or wear it over your shoulder or cross-body.
A 120cm strap is included.
All the metal fittings are securely sewn in with fabric made from the "saki-ami" technique.
Craftsmanship
More than 10 meters of organza are used in each bag.
The process begins by tearing each strip of fabric by hand.
From the basket, a vibrant array of "saki-ami" flowers bloom, as if overflowing.
That's why I named it "saki-ami" (blooming knit) rather than "saki-ami" (torn knit).
It comes with a detachable shoulder strap.
You can carry it around casually or hold it carefully.
Although not shown in the photos, a matching organza inner bag is included.
Because we want you to shower it with love
Since the entire bag, including the stitching, is made of organza, it is very light and won't hinder your outing.
Because it is tightly woven, it will not unravel or lose its volume even if it gets wet in the rain or jostled during an outing!
If it gets dirty, you can hand wash it.

Material Focus
The fluffy saki-ami is born from organza. Organza is a thin, light, stiff plain-weave fabric with a crisp texture. Because it lets light through, it has a unique soft atmosphere, while its elegant sheerness creates transparency, and its distinctive luster and elasticity are its characteristics. After tearing various fabrics, chiko uses polyester organza, which has strong durability and stable quality.

Precautions for Handling Saki-ami Products
Since the product is made by tearing fabric, there may be some fuzz. While some fluff may come off initially, the fibers will settle and become less prone to shedding with use, so please enjoy its unique texture over time. If it gets dirty, please hand wash it. If you let it dry as is, the volume will return to its original state!
