This is a high-quality, thick fabric woven from hand-spun wool. We sourced this fabric, with its unique hand-spun texture and color, which is hard to find in Japan, from a fabric wholesaler in New York. From countless color combinations, we agonized over the selection, envisioning its collaboration with organza! The chiko color was chosen based on usable situations and atmosphere.

The soft, blooming weave is born from organza. Organza is a thin, light, crisp, and stiff plain-weave fabric. Its ability to transmit light gives it a uniquely soft ambiance while its elegant sheerness creates transparency, and its distinctive luster and elasticity are notable features. After tearing various fabrics, chiko uses polyester organza due to its strong durability and stable quality.

Care Instructions for Saki-Ami Products
Because the fabric is torn to create the product, there may be some fluff. While some lint may come off, as you use it, the fibers will settle and become less prone to shedding, so please enjoy its texture as it ages. If it gets dirty, please hand wash it gently. If you let it dry as is, the volume will return to normal!
