I created a "saki-ami" (braided flower) ikebana that melts into the space.

When I created this flower shape, it didn't feel like an accessory; it felt like a flower blooming right in my hands.

I agonized over whether to make it into a bouquet, a wreath, or countless other flower forms. But in the end, I really wanted it to bloom right there.

I wanted it to bloom softly, from the table, from the wall.

So, after much deliberation on how to make it bloom, an idea struck me. A form where the flowers bloom simply by being placed, or by hanging on a wall, they bloom towards a window.

It's cute from every angle, 360 degrees, and I'm not afraid if it's seen from the back.

The flower stems are made of wire and can be bent freely, so you can arrange the position and direction of the flowers as freely as in ikebana.

You can hang it on a wall and have it bloom towards the ceiling or towards a window, all at your discretion.

I've also practiced ikebana as a hobby, and I love how flowers turn towards the ceiling or the light from a window as time passes after they've been arranged.

The flowers made with "saki-ami" blend with the light and melt into the space.

Please cherish it anywhere: on your desk, at your entrance, in your car, or in your washroom.

About the materials

The soft "saki-ami" flowers are born from organza. Organza is a thin, light, crisp, hand-woven plain fabric. Because it transmits light, it has a unique soft ambiance with an elegant transparency, creating a distinctive luster and elasticity. After tearing various fabrics, chiko uses polyester organza, which is strong and has stable quality.

Organza Saki-ami

We tear organza fabric and knit soft flowers full of air. Tearing the fabric gives it a soft crispness, and carefully weaving each stitch creates a fluffy volume.

Features of Saki-ami Products

Organza, which allows light to pass through, blends seamlessly with daily outfits and any place you visit. The intermingling of colors due to light creates various expressions.

Care Instructions for Saki-ami Products

Because this product is made by tearing fabric, there may be some fluff. While some fibers may shed initially, they will settle with use, making shedding less likely. Please enjoy the unique texture. If it gets dirty, hand wash gently. Just let it dry, and its volume will return to normal!
