We sourced this hand-spun fabric with its unique texture and color, which is hard to find in Japan, from a fabric wholesaler in New York.
From countless color combinations, we agonized over the selection, envisioning its collaboration with organza!
This is a "chiko color" chosen based on ease of use and atmosphere.

The fluffy, blooming weave is created from organza.
Organza is a thin, light, stiff, hand-woven plain fabric with a crisp texture.
Because it transmits light, it creates a unique soft atmosphere while its elegant transparency gives a sense of clearness, and it is characterized by a unique luster and elasticity.
After tearing various fabrics, chiko uses polyester organza due to its strength and consistent quality.

Precautions for handling Saki-ami products
Since the fabric is torn to create the product, there will be some fuzz. The fuzz may fall off initially, but as you use it, the fibers will settle and become less likely to fall, so please enjoy the texture. If dirt is a concern, please hand wash it gently. If you let it air dry, the volume will return to its original state!
