Freely bending and blending into space: Saki-ami flowers | Large red flower

A saki-ami flower has bloomed, melting into the space.

A single flower, fully bloomed.

But since it's not a real flower, I thought it would be a shame not to embroider it, so
I sewn on pearls and sequins for a sparkling touch.
It's cute from every angle, 360 degrees, a feast for the eyes.

Whether in the sun or illuminated by a room lamp,
It's just like a real flower in that it never shows the same expression no matter where or how you look at it.

This flower, made by me, a flower lover who has enjoyed ikebana for many years and cherished garden flowers, isn't real, but you can enjoy it as if it were.

The stem of the flower is made of wire and can be bent freely, so you can arrange the position and direction of the bloom as freely as in ikebana.

Saki-ami flowers melt into the light and into the space.

You can put it in a pen stand on your desk, a single-flower vase in your living room, or just place it anywhere.

◎Organza
Fluffy saki-ami is born from organza. Organza is a thin, light, crisp, hand-woven plain weave fabric. It allows light to pass through, creating a unique soft atmosphere with an elegant translucency that enhances its transparency, and is characterized by its unique luster and elasticity. After tearing various fabrics, chiko uses polyester organza, which has strong durability and stable quality.

◎Sequins
We use hand-dyed original sequins.
Each sequin is individually bent by hand.
Subtle curves create space, mimicking the movement of petals.

Organza Saki-ami
We tear organza fabric and knit soft flowers that are full of air. Tearing the fabric gives the soft fabric firmness, and by knitting each strand tightly, we create a fluffy volume.

Characteristics of Saki-ami Products
Organza, which allows light to pass through, blends seamlessly into any space. The interplay of colors with light creates various expressions.

Precautions for Handling Saki-ami Products
Since the fabric is torn to create the product, there may be some fuzz. While fuzz may shed, as you use it, the fibers will settle and become less prone to shedding, so please enjoy its unique texture. If it gets dirty, hand wash it gently. If you let it dry as is, the volume will return to normal!
