It's a high-quality, thick fabric woven from hand-spun wool. We sourced this hand-spun fabric, with its unique texture and color that is hard to find in Japan, from a fabric wholesaler in New York. After countless color combinations, we carefully selected this one, envisioning its collaboration with organza! This is the "chiko color" determined by ease of use and atmosphere.
・Organza
The soft, blooming weave is created from organza. Organza is a thin, light, stiff, hand-woven plain-weave fabric with a crisp texture. Because it lets light through, it has a unique soft atmosphere while its elegant sheerness creates transparency, and its distinctive luster and elasticity are its hallmarks. After tearing various fabrics, chiko uses polyester organza, which has strong durability and stable quality.

Precautions for handling Saki-ami products
Since the product is made by tearing fabric, there may be some fuzz. The fuzz may shed, but as you use it, the fibers will settle and become less likely to shed, so please enjoy the texture. If you are concerned about dirt, hand wash it gently. If you let it dry as is, the volume will return to its original state!
