We've created a "saki-ami" (braided flower) ikebana that blends into any space.

When this floral shape was created, it felt less like an accessory and more like something that had blossomed right in my hands.

I agonized over countless floral forms, wondering if it should be a bouquet or a wreath. But ultimately, I just wanted it to bloom there.

I wanted it to softly bloom from tables, from walls.

So, after much deliberation on how to make it bloom, an idea struck me. A form where flowers bloom as they are placed, and when hung on a wall, they turn towards the window.

It's charming from every angle, 360 degrees, and I'm not afraid of it being seen from behind.

The flower stems are made of wire and can be freely bent, allowing you to arrange the position and direction of the flowers just like in ikebana.

You can hang it on a wall and have it bloom towards the ceiling, or towards a window, with complete freedom.

I've also practiced ikebana as a hobby, and I love how, after some time, the flowers turn towards the ceiling or the light from the window.

The flowers made with "saki-ami" melt into the light and into the space.

Please enjoy them anywhere – on your desk, at the entrance, in your car, or in the washroom.

Material Philosophy

The fluffy "saki-ami" is born from organza. Organza is a thin, light, crisp, hand-woven plain weave fabric. It transmits light, giving it a uniquely soft ambiance, while its elegant sheerness creates a sense of transparency, characterized by a unique luster and elasticity. After tearing various fabrics, Chiko uses polyester organza, which is strong and stable in quality.

Organza Saki-ami

We tear organza fabric and weave soft flowers that are full of air. Tearing the fabric gives the soft material stiffness, and by carefully weaving each stitch, we create a fluffy volume.

Features of Saki-ami Products

Organza, which allows light to pass through, seamlessly blends into your daily attire and the places you visit. The intermingling of colors due to light creates a variety of expressions.

Care Instructions for Saki-ami Products

Since these products are made by tearing fabric, they may have some fluff. While some fluff may shed, the fibers will settle over time, making it less likely to shed, so please enjoy its unique texture. If it gets dirty, please hand wash it gently. If you let it air dry as is, the volume will return to its original state!
